Sorry for publishing it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Dear Thierry,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I want to thank you once again for taking the time to come for the <\/em><br \/>\n<em>masterclass.\u00a0 I have since talked to all\u00a0 students and the everyone was <\/em><br \/>\n<em>overwhelmingly enthusiastic.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I, personally, was very impressed by the thoroughness<\/em><em> and analytical manner in which you approached the technical aspects of the instrument.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Definitely food for thought for the students.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Aside from the lessons, I very much enjoyed your recital.\u00a0 You have a lovely, warm, round<\/em><em> sound.\u00a0 That, combined with the beautiful lyrical approach to the instrument is a joy<\/em><em> experience.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>One thing in particular that you mentioned is something I will keep with me.\u00a0 You told the <\/em><em>students to practice something for ten minutes every day and then go on.\u00a0 That is not new,<\/em><em> but the notion that your body and mind will eventually gravitate to what is right and good<\/em><em> is a nice way of putting it.\u00a0 Students tend to want to force things to happen, but trusting<\/em><em> that your mind, body and musicality will learn towards it naturally is a good piece of wisdom.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Thank you for pointing that out.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, I received a nice letter after a recent master class&#8230; I am very happy because it describes an aspect of my pedagogy.
